Our Community

Welcome to the Family

In both the real and digital world, things get noisy. So noisy in fact, that it's almost impossible to hear what someone is really trying to say. That's why we go beyond posting to engage in real conversation. Our digital platform is a space to exhale. We invite you to find true and diverse community that allows you to set down your struggles and pick up on what's really being said, all from the comfort of your couch or hammock.

FAQ

  • Yes. Our doors are open to you whenever you find us, whenever you’re ready to join. You’re right on time!

  • All of our community spaces, programs, and content lives within the Hiking My Feelings Family on Mighty Networks. This is a platform that you can access via website or app. It’s easy to use and we have some easy-to-follow tutorials to make sure you find your way and can connect with our other heart-centered members about topics that are relevant to you.

  • Our network is always free to join, so there are no contracts. If you are a monthly donor, stay as long as you’d like or opt-out before your next monthly donation is made.

  • You’ll receive your welcome emails and be invited to the private community. You’ll have complete access to everything on the site including videos on how to get started, events to RSVP for, and discounts from our partners and sponsors.

  • The network is free to join, but if you purchase a program or retreat, you can review our policies here.

a soft place to land, a firm place to launch from.

Summit Circle Gatherings

  • Safety + Planning Meetings with Barry

Your brain is the most important piece of gear you can bring on a hike, and the more you know, the safer you'll feel. Whether you're planning your first hike ever or working toward an epic adventure in the backcountry, you'll find community and support at our safety & planning meetings. Barry (he/him) plans all the logistics for the Hiking My Feelings tours, hikes, and backpacking trips and is a former Wilderness EMT and professional skydiver. He's been at the forefront of education and safety for the past 20+ years.

  • Summit Support with Sydney

Join Hiking My Feelings founder Sydney Williams for a conversation about hiking, healing, and living with intention. We promise you'll leave this conversation feeling reconnected, energized, and with a bit more faith in humanity. This is your place to put it down, take off the masks, shed the labels, and just be. If you're here, you're healing. You can't change what happened to you, you can't possibly know what's coming tomorrow, but what you can do is disconnect from the distractions and take an hour with us to reconnect with yourself.
