We’re bringing our retreats to Sequoia National Park!

I will never forget the day the idea for this retreat first came to me. It was early 2019, and we had just been invited to continue my speaking tour around Southern California and extend it to a months-long trip around the United States. Between tour stops, Barry and I drove to Sequoia National Park. I took a video of us driving by the sign, KBong’s song Travelin’ On was playing in the background, and it hit me:

How cool would it be to host a retreat INSIDE Sequoia National Park, with KBong, to introduce folks to the healing power of nature someday?

Mind you, this was before I wrote my book, before we were a nonprofit organization, before we knew KBong, before we had ever hiked a step with him. The vision was so clear - a group of people around the campfire, singing along to great music under the stars, hiking and healing not only ourselves, but also with each other and supporting the health of the park itself.

Well folks, someday is happening this summer.

Thanks to our partnership with the Sequoia Parks Conservancy, we have two different programs to choose from, both supporting service projects inside the park.

Are you ready to do good and feel good? Join us July 15-17 or August 26-28. While these programs are fantastic on their own, they’re best experienced together, so if you feel called to register for both, please do!

🔥 Rising Through The Flames: Join us for a weekend of service and self-care as we monitor the Monarch Sequoia population (trees 4’ or greater in diameter) and tap into the inspiration from the fire-resilient Sequoia tree to better understand our own physical and mental health. Tree huggers, assemble!

🌿 Understanding + Restoring Our Meadows + Minds: When I’m grounded, well-nourished, and my needs are met, my mind is like a pristine meadow - all systems working in harmony together. As we learn how to remove invasive species as a function of meadow restoration, we’ll tap into the healing power of nature to help us understand and remove our invasive thoughts.

At both retreats, we are honored to share this time and space with our favorite adventure buddy. Kevin Bong aka KBong is a singer-songwriter who is inspired by hiking, traveling, and spending time with family. His music makes you feel like you’re on vacation and his lyrics are uplifting and inspiring - the perfect way to end each day of our experience together.

We only have 12 spots available for each experience, so if this sounds like exactly what you need, learn more + register below!
